Gender and rurality relations in vital projects and self-notions of young women

Resumo: This article presents the results of a qualitative study with 48 young women from rural areas of Rio Grande do Sul (Brazil), focusing on aspects of them life’s project and identity markers present in their projects. The methodological approach consisted of a combination of biographical narrative interviews and a proposal auto photographical composition, with subsequent semi-structured interviews. The results indicate that the community relations rurality and gender are important landmarks of the vital projects of these young people that hang between traditional readings of gender roles and subversive possibilities of the female, in a dialogic narrative process.

A aproximação metodológica consistiu de uma combinação entre entrevistas narrativas de caráter biográfico e uma proposta de fotocomposição, ambas com roteiro de produção semiestruturada.
