Resumo: This paper discusses the effects of neoliberalism in urban ways of life, tracing elements to experiment and defamiliarize the city in order to resist the economic logic and the subjective arrangements supported on the Integrated World Capitalism wires. Two urban scenes are presented: one of them accounts the situation of a service aimed at drug users that is rejected by the local population in a large Brazilian city. The capitalistic codes that overcodify the cities are discussed, with the aim to establish creative relations on the space of the cities, relations that are able to resist the subjective capitalizing strategies and, thus, to seed unusual (unhabitual) cities.
