From the obscene universe of Jesus: on “Joshua, companheiros e amantes”, by Maria Gabriela Llansol

We read the text “Joshua, companheiros e amantes” (1987), by Maria Gabriela Llansol, published in Colóquio/Letras Magazine. We address, above all, the presence, in overprint, of apocryphal biblical texts, canonical, heretical, about the conception of Jesus, coming from the Gospel of Luke (2002), Origen (2004), and Toledot Yeshu (undated), as well as texts by Giordano Bruno and others who refer to him. We investigate, on the one hand, the legência that focuses on texts from a certain religious tradition, the Judeo-Christian; on the other, the plurality of texts that Llansol’s Textuality approaches in order to capture their blaze, outside of hegemonic readings that are based on doctrines which are sometimes restrictive. Finally, we present a legência of the figure of Ana who teaches Myriam to read, present in Um beijo dado mais tarde (1991), understanding Myriam, at once, as learning to read and the text that is taught.
