A meeting between Fiama Hasse Pais Brandão and Maria Gabriela Llansol: the alchemical process of writing

Resumo: Fiama Hasse Pais Brandão and Maria Gabriela Llansol present some common points between their writings, although there is no direct influence between them as they are contemporary. This work, therefore, aims to investigate the commonalities of the birth of Fiama and Llansol’s writing – such as their opposition to pre-established molds and the subversion of language so that it supports their literary experiences, metalanguage and alchemy (of language) – using as corpus excerpts from the first two books of the Llansol Rebels Trilogy (O livro das comunidade and A restante vida) and some poems by Fiama Hasse Pais Brandão, present in the books Morfismos, Barcas novas, (Este) Rosto, Melómana, among others that make her Obra breve. To achieve these goals, critical texts, and essays on the work of Fiama and Llansol are considered, as well as metacritical texts by the authors. In addition, texts on alchemy and texts by philosophers related to language and writing, such as Nietzsche and Agamben, are used.

Este trabalho, portanto, visa a investigar os pontos em comum do nascimento da escrita de Fiama e Llansol – como a oposição que fazem aos moldes pré-estabelecidos e a subversão da língua para que ela suporte suas experiências literárias, a metalinguagem e a alquimia (da linguagem) – utilizando como corpus trechos dos dois primeiros livros da Geografia de Rebeldes de Llansol (O livro das comunidades e A restante vida) e de alguns poemas de Fiama Hasse Pais Brandão, presentes nos livros Morfismos, Barcas novas, (Este) Rosto, Melómana, dentre outros que compõem sua Obra breve. Para alcançar tais objetivos, são considerados textos críticos e ensaísticos sobre a obra de Fiama e de Llansol, bem como textos metacríticos das autoras.
