Resumo: | This article discusses the presence of the body in the poetry of the Portuguese writer Judith Teixeira, not only as an aesthetic manifestation, but mainly as an expression of resistance and insurrection. In a conservative moment of the history of the country, and amid the storm provoked by the generation of Orpheu, the literary environment, predominantly male, accepted female poets who corresponded, in their writing, to the model of woman created by the medieval poetry, and cultivated until the Portuguese Romanticism. Through an impactful and provocative poetry, Judith Teixeira faces the poetic patriarchy, bringing to her text not only a feminine body, but one that desires and is desired, and lives multiple forms of pleasure. |
