Um beijo dado mais tarde and the (un)learning of reading

Resumo: The liberation of language from its habitual condition of “imposture” is a semantic nucleus disseminated throughout the work of Maria Gabriela Llansol, but it is in Um beijo dado mais tarde (1990) that this nucleus finds a space for fictional “dramatization” , presenting itself both as a sui generis textual construction and as an experience of the beings that transit through this text. Here, I pursue the argument that the image of reading is in this work at the same time the semantic node from which the exchange of an inherited language for an acquired voice emanates and the main way in which the figures claim a deautomatized and amplified perception of texts and world(s). Theoretical formulations of Roland Barthes, Hans Robert Jauss and Wolfgang Iser illuminate my interpretive hypothesis.

Persigo aqui o argumento de que a imagem da leitura é nessa obra o nó semântico donde emana a troca duma língua herdada por uma voz adquirida e a principal via por que as figuras reivindicam uma percepção desautomatizada e amplificada dos textos e do(s) mundo(s).
