Resumo: | This article revisits some thoughts elaborated for the remembrance of Walter Benjamin on the 80th anniversary of his death. It insists on this paradigmatic death for that of all refugees and exiles who never have the necessary visas and identity cards to cross countless borders. It attempts to defend an interpretation of "On the concept of history", his last written piece, as not being a text of "philosophy of history", but rather a critical philosophical reflection on historiography, questioning the political and social position of the historian, as well as the relevance of the transmission (Überlieferung) from the past to the present. |

Este artigo retoma reflexões elaboradas para os 80 anos da morte de Walter Benjamin. Insiste nessa morte paradigmática para aquela de todos os refugiados e exilados que nunca possuem os vistos e peças de identidade necessários à passagem das inúmeras fronteiras.
