Resumo: | This article is part of a research project in which I aim to study the relationship between poetry, history, and politics, analyzing poetic productions written during historical moments whose violence painfully marks the historical experience and propitiates the notion of political exceptionality. The focus here is specifically on poems written by Cynthia Dornelles in the anthology entitled Ebulição da Escrivatura, a small book released in Brazil in 1978 by Civilização Brasileira, within the collection Poesia Hoje, n.21. The text highlights the fact that Dornelles is the only female voice among the authors and observes traces of her poetics, be it the figures of speech she mobilizes, or the (strict) political participation of women and the black movement under the military dictatorship that dominated the country in those times (1964-1985). In particular, I explore the images of the window and the wind, in relation to the experience of historical time, counter-insurgency, and the clamor for new historiographical possibilities. |
