The purpose of this article is to show how Gilles Deleuze was able to mobilize and describe structuralism as a thought, and a method delimited by recognizable theoretical and methodological differences through the conceptual criterion called the symbolic. In 1967 the philosopher Gilles Deleuze wrot e a text on the theoretical-methodological foundations of structuralism, or rather of structuralism. During the sixties the studies delimited by what was called structuralism (s) became the main theoretical-methodological reference in the scientific field, especially for the works developed within the human sciences, so the hypothesis that led to this research was: how could the philosopher recognize in the symbolic criterion an important notion for the theoretical mobilization of the various structuralisms practiced in the sixties?
