Resumo: This article consists of a brief examination of the dialogue established between microhistory and anthropology. Its objective is to evaluate the influence of economic anthropology and social anthropology on two of the main exponents of the so-called Italian micro-history: Edoardo Grendi and Giovanni Levi. For this, the study is divided into three parts: in the first, we walk the path that links the assumptions of Witold Kula and Karl Polanyi's economic anthropology to the interests of social microhistory; in the second, we examine the influence exerted by social anthropology for the construction of the microanalysis proposal in Grendi; finally, in view of the fundamentally empirical and experimental character of microhistory, we will try to delineate the way in which the anthropological approaches and concepts were appropriated in concrete researches of Grendi and Levi, published between 1977 and 1985.
