Resumo: In this article we analyze how Bertolt Brecht appropriates the characteristic elements of buffoonery, from their practical experience alongside the popular comic Karl Valentin, to think about techniques for the actor of his theater, a theater that aims at social transformation. This analysis arises from reflections within a research that develops from the graduation in Theater and today gains greater dimensions in the doctorate and teaching, permeate studies and practices with the buffoon, whose axis the relationship between artistic practice and actor policy that seeks the mood a creative possibility in an attempt to achieve social criticism, or even open a discussion course on policy issues believes relevant reflection. Therefore, it seeks references from comic actors, who are believed to use elements of buffoonery and humor in their scenic practices to carry out social criticism, trying to understand how to operate in practice this comic game that aims to denounce.

Essa análise surge a partir de reflexões dentro de uma pesquisa que se desenvolve desde a graduação em Teatro, e que, atualmente, vem ganhando maiores dimensões no doutorado e docência, permeando os estudos e práticas com o bufão que tem como eixo a relação entre a prática artística e política do ator que busca no humor uma possibilidade criativa na tentativa de realizar a crítica social, ou ainda, abrir espaço de debate sobre questões políticas que acredita pertinentes de reflexão.
