Resumo: | ABSTRACT: This work aimed to identify the terms used by components of the nursing staff of the of the school hospital, in written patient clinical records, to designate phenomena of nursing; and to compare the terms identified with those included in the Classification of Nursing Phenomena of the ICNP© - Beta version. As the population of study, it was considered all clinical records of the patients admitted in this service during the period of August/2001 to January/2002; 167 clinical records that contained written data of components of the nursing staff constituted the sample. In the process, it was identification of 586 nursing phenomena. After the cross-mapping phase, it was identified 340 terms already included in the Classification of Nursing Phenomena of the ICNP© - Beta version; and 246 new possible terms to be included in the future. KEYWORDS: Phenomenon of nursing, Registers of nursing, Nursing staff.RESUMEN: Este trabajo apuntó identificar los términos usados por los componentes de la enfermera del hospital de la escuela, en registros clínicos de los pacientes, para señalar fenómenos del oficio de enfermera; y comparar los términos identificados con los incluidos en la clasificación de los fenómenos del oficio de enfermera de la CIPE© - versión beta, utilizando como población del estudio todos los registros clínicos de los pacientes admitidos en este servicio durante el período de Augusto/2001 a January/2002. La muestra constituyeron de 167 prontuarios clínicos que contuvieron datos escritos de los componentes de la enfermera. En el proceso, fueron identificados 586 fenómenos del oficio de enfermera. Después de la fase el cruzamiento, fueron reconocidos 340 términos como ya incluidos en la clasificación de los fenómenos de la CIPE©; y 246 nuevos términos como posibilidades que se incluirán en el futuro. PALABRAS CLAVE: Fenómeno de enfermería, Registros del oficio de enfermería, Equipe de enfermería.Este trabalho tem como objetivo identificar os termos empregados pelos componentes da equipe de enfermagem, nos registros em prontuários de pacientes, para denominar os fenômenos de enfermagem e comparar com os constantes na Classificação de Fenômenos de Enfermagem da CIPE© - Versão Beta. O estudo foi desenvolvido em unidades de internação de um hospital escola, utilizando-se como população todos os prontuários de pacientes admitidos nesse serviço durante o período de agosto/2001 a janeiro/2002. A amostra foi constituída por 167 prontuários, a partir dos quais foram identificados 586 fenômenos de enfermagem nos registros de enfermagem. Depois da fase de mapeamento, observou-se que existiam 340 termos incluídos na Classificação de Fenômenos de Enfermagem da CIPE© – Versão Beta, e 246 novos termos com possibilidade de ser incluídos no futuro.
