Guide of care: caring and daily care of clients with mitral valve implant

Resumo: | Exploratory descriptive research, quantitative and thematic analysis. Object of study the elaboration of a Guide of Care for the clients submitted to mechanical mitral valve implant. Objectives: trace clients’ profile with mechanical mitral valve; identify challenges and needs of these clients; evaluate the possibilities of self caring by these clients, analyze themes and components that should be shared to these clients through the guide of care, elaborate a mitral valve user’s guide with care for post-discharge. Theoretical foundation observed the concepts of caring/care, elaborated by researchers on the nursing care area: Waldow (1992, 1994, 1995, 1998); Neves Arruda (1993), Silva (1993, 1995, 1997a, 1997b), Coelho (1999), Figueiredo y Carvalho (1999), Santoro (2002) and on education: Freire (2003). Scenery was the out patients’ unit of cardiology in a public hospital in Rio de Janeiro. To obtain data, it was utilized a semi-structured interview, with forty-eight clients of both sexes, ranging from 20 to 59 years old. It was concluded that after hospital discharge, everyone manifest physical and temporal impediments alike, owing to the surgery to which they were submitted; social-economical questions contributed to aggravate physical and emotional conditions; family support is of fundamental importance to client recovery, as well as regular ambulatory revisions. Through these results, it was elaborated an Guide of Care prototype, validated by clients and further graphically improved, contained information / explanation scientifically elaborated on the main problems related to subject of the study, and how to carry out care properly, aiming to momentary recovery which present it. The presentation form is simple and, undoubtedly, the compound is significantly important for client in post-hospital discharge period, allowing them not only solving doubts, but also making relevant notes Therefore, as a final expression of research, it is a document in which systematized nursing care has the objective of the best client recovery and warrant of life quality.Key words: Nursing; Care; Cardiac Surgery; Mitral valve. |

Objeto de Estudio: elaboración de una Agenda de Cuidados vueltados para los clientes sometidos al implante de valvula mitral mecánica. Objetivos: 1) Trazar el perfil de los clientes con implante de válvula mitral mecánica; 2) Identificar los impedimentos y las necesidades de eses clientes. 3) Avaliar las posibilidades de realización de cuidados por eses clientes. 4) Analizar los temas y los contenidos que a partir de la prática educativa del enfermero, deben ser transmitidos a eses clientes através de una Agenda de Cuidados. 5) Elaborar una Agenda de Cuidados a seren desarollada rutineramente por los clientes la implante de válvula mitral mecánica, después la alta hospitalar. Soporte teórico: cuidar/cuidados, elaborados por pesquisadoras de la área del cuidado de enfermería: Waldow (1992, 1994, 1995, 1998); Neves Arruda (1993), Silva (1993, 1995, 1997a, 1997b), Coelho (1999), Figueiredo y Carvalho (1999), Santoro (2002) y de la educación: Freire (2003).Escenario: ambulatorio de cardiología de un hospital público del Rio de Janeiro. Entrevista semi-estruturada, con cuarenta y ocho de ambos los sexos, en la faja etária entre 20 y 59 años. Se concluió que: después de la alta hospitalar, todos manifestan impedimentos físicos semejantes y temporários decorrentes de la cirugía a que se someteron; las cuestiones sócio-economicas contribuyen para agravar condiciones físicas y emocionais; el apoyo familiar es de fundamental importancia para la recuperación del cliente, así como las revisiones ambulatoriais regulares. A partir de eses resultados, fue elaborado un modelo de Agenda de Cuidados, validada por los clientes y posteriormente logrado graficamente, contendo información / esclarecimientos cientificamente elaborados acerca de los principales problemas relatados por los sujetos del estudio, y de como ejecutar correctamente los cuidados visando la superación momentânea de los impedimentos que presentan. La forma de presentación es simples y, sin duda, lo contenido es significativamente importante para el cliente en el período pós-alta hospitalar, lo permitindo no solamente dirimir duda como también hacer anotación juzgada relevantes. Expressión final de la pesquisa, es un documento en el cual los cuidados de enfermería sistematizados objetivan la mejor recuperación del cliente y la garantía de su cualidade de vida.Palabras clave: Enfermería; Cuidados; Cirugia Torácica; Válvula Mitral.Pesquisa descritiva exploratória, qualitativa e análise temática. Cenário: ambulatório de cardiologia de um hospital público do Rio de Janeiro. Entrevista semi-estruturada, com quarenta e oito clientes de ambos os sexos, na faixa etária entre 20 e 59 anos. Concluiu-se que: após a alta hospitalar, todos manifestam impedimentos físicos semelhantes e temporários decorrentes da cirurgia a que se submeteram; as questões sócio-econômicas contribuem para agravar condições físicas e emocionais; o apoio familiar é de fundamental importância para a recuperação do cliente, assim como as revisões ambulatoriais regulares. A partir desses resultados, foi elaborado um modelo de Agenda de Cuidados, validada pelos clientes e posteriormente aperfeiçoado graficamente, contendo informações / esclarecimentos cientificamente elaborados acerca dos principais problemas relatados pelos sujeitos do estudo, e de como executar corretamente os cuidados visando a superação momentânea dos impedimentos que apresentam. A forma de apresentação é simples e, sem dúvida, o conteúdo é significativamente importante para o cliente no período pós-alta hospitalar, permitindo-lhe não só dirimir dúvidas como também fazer anotações julgadas relevantes.
