Resumo: This study aims to analyze the Informação Goyana magazine, published in Rio de Janeiro between 1917 and 1935. The goal is to understand the strategies of projecting the state of Goiás produced by a group of intellectuals goianos recorded in the pages of the magazine. In this sense, we seek to understand the set of representations made to present the state in other regions of the country. That said, we aimed to identify the pages of the magazine, the elements of reconfiguration of identity, goiana. That is, the attempt by intellectuals to Informação Goyana integrate Goiás a project of modern nation to both praised and identified who the Goiás, which produced economically, politically and culturally, thus highlighting their strengths and potential contributions to the Brazilian progress integrating definitely Goiás in Brazil.

O objetivo consiste em perceber as estratégias de projeção do estado de Goiás produzidas por um grupo de intelectuais goianos registrados nas páginas da revista. Nesse sentido, buscamos perceber o conjunto de representações feitas para apresentar o estado nas demais regiões do país. Isto posto, objetivamos identificar nas páginas da revista, os elementos de reconfiguração da identidade, goiana. Ou seja, a tentativa dos intelectuais da Informação Goyana de integrar Goiás a um projeto de nação moderna para tanto exaltou e identificou quem eram os goianos, o que produziam economicamente, politicamente e culturalmente, ressaltando assim suas potencialidades e possibilidades de contribuição para o progresso brasileiro, integrando definitivamente Goiás ao Brasil.Made available in DSpace on 2014-07-29T16:17:33Z (GMT).
