Resumo: | This dissertation has the format of published scientific articles and has the title The Libras subject in higher education: reflections for teacher training, which deals with the theme of the implementation of the Libras subject in the curricula of undergraduate courses. The general objective is to map the offer of the subject Libras course at the Federal Rural University of the Amazon (UFRA), with a focus on undergraduate courses and to analyze the proposals with regard to the workload and schedule, relating them to the studies and research already carried out. Carried out on the theme in Brazil, especially in its contribution to the teaching of Libras. Thus, it is intended to answer the following questions: How is the Libras subject offering in the undergraduate courses at UFRA and its implementation? What are the characteristics of the offer with regard to the proposed hourly load and schedule? What is the characteristic of studies and research in theses and dissertations already carried out, which deal with the offer of the Libras subject in Brazil? The authors that support the research are Gesser (2012), Quadros (2015) and Lodi (2015). For this purpose, the research is developed through qualitative research, being documentary and bibliographic, focusing on the literature review of theses and dissertations available in the Capes catalog, in order to understand how the Libras subject contributes to the formation of the teacher in initial training, especially for the education of the deaf. For the methodological development, UFRA institutional website and the pedagogical projects of the courses that offer the Libras subject in its curricular plan are also used, focusing on the analysis of the menus and workload that each course offers, as well as the references described. It is concluded that there is a significant number of works on the theme developed in Brazil in master’s and doctoral courses; and, at UFRA, we identified that the Libras subject offer is mandatory and with an extended workload in relation to the bachelor's degrees at the same institution, which offer the subject in an elective way and with a lower workload. However, it shows that there is no significant variation in the contents of the menus between courses and may be disregarding the specifics of each one. |

O artigo 1 intitulado: Revisão sistemática da disciplina de Libras nos cursos de licenciatura no Brasil, com o objetivo, de identificar o estado da arte sobre a disciplina de Língua Brasileira de Sinais (Libras) nos cursos de licenciatura no Brasil. O artigo 2 intitulado: Formação do professor na Universidade Federal Rural da Amazônia: Contribuições da disciplina de Libras, o tem objetivo de investigar como ocorre a oferta da disciplina nos cursos de Licenciatura desta instituição. O objetivo geral deste estudo é mapear a oferta da disciplina Libras na Universidade Federal Rural da Amazônia (UFRA), com foco nos cursos de Licenciatura e analisar as propostas no que se refere à cargahorária e ementário, relacionando-as com os estudos e pesquisas já realizados sobre o tema noBrasil, sobretudo, na sua contribuição para o ensino de Libras. Dessa forma, pretende-se responder às seguintes perguntas: Como está se dando oferta da disciplina Libras nos cursos de Licenciaturas na UFRA e sua implementação? Quais são as características da oferta no que se refere à proposta de carga-horária e ementário? Qual a característica de estudos e pesquisas em teses e dissertações já realizados, que tratem da oferta da disciplina de Libras no Brasil? Os autores que fundamentam a pesquisa são Gesser (2012), Quadros (2015) e Lodi (2015). Para tanto, a pesquisa desenvolve-se por meio da pesquisa qualitativa, sendo documental e bibliográfica, com foco na revisão literatura de teses e dissertações disponíveis no catálogo da Capes, com o intuito de compreender de que forma a disciplina de Libras contribui para a formação do professor na formação inicial, sobretudo, para a educação dos surdos. Para o desenvolvimento metodológico, utiliza-se também o site institucional da UFRA e os projetos pedagógicos dos cursos que ofertam a disciplina de Libras no seu plano curricular, com foco na análise das ementas e carga horária que cada curso oferece, bem como as referências descritas. Conclui-se que há um número significativo de trabalhos sobre o tema desenvolvidos no Brasil em cursos de mestrado e doutorado e que estes trabalhos contribuem e são significantes para a formação do professor; e, na UFRA, identificamos que a oferta da disciplina de Libras é obrigatória e com carga-horária ampliada em relação aos cursos de bacharelado na mesma instituição, que ofertam a disciplina de forma eletiva e com carga-horária menor.
