Resumo: | This research aims to conduct a study on the health of the teaching work. We seek to understand the relationships that can be established between the organization of work and psychological distress. To reveal certain sufferings which actually have been neglected so far in studies on work, we try to analyze what, in their confrontation with the worker task, endangers their mental life and, above all, the experience of workers in relation to in relation to health and disease. It is studying the cases of teaching workers who were taken to the absenteeism (license or abandonment of the work). The contributions of the Christophe Dejours about the analysis of the pleasure, suffering and work, the psychological and social processes that affect on individuals and organizations are guiding this study. From the research and ideas of Christophe Dejours constitutes a branch of research, the psychodynamics of work. Teaching work became major concentration points of pressure on the worker. Besides his teaching duties, teachers should worry about your career, your security and your salary. Are overworked professionals who have little time to invest in their training and professional achievement. The absenteeism rates are increasing and that the imbalance caused by the organization of work has on the health of workers. We conducted semi-structured interviews with teachers of basic education. Procuramos entender as relações que podem se estabelecer entre a organização do trabalho e o sofrimento psíquico. Para revelar certos sofrimentos que, na verdade, foram negligenciados até hoje pelos estudos sobre o trabalho, nós procuraremos analisar aquilo que, no afrontamento do trabalhador com sua tarefa, põe em perigo sua vida mental e, sobretudo, a vivência dos trabalhadores em relação à saúde e em relação à doença. Trata-se de estudar os casos de trabalhadores docentes que foram levados ao absenteísmo (licença médica, afastamento ou abandono do trabalho). As contribuições da Escola Dejouriana acerca da análise da relação prazer, sofrimento e trabalho, abordando os processos psicossociais que interferem nos indivíduos e nas organizações, são norteadoras deste estudo. A partir das pesquisas e ideias de Christophe Dejours se constitui um ramo de pesquisa, a Psicodinâmica do Trabalho. O trabalho docente tornou-se um dos pontos principais de concentração de pressões sobre o trabalhador. Além de suas funções docentes, os professores devem preocupar-se com sua carreira, sua segurança e seu salário. São profissionais sobrecarregados que tem pouco tempo para investir em sua qualificação e realização profissional. Os índices de absenteísmo são crescentes e causados pelo desequilíbrio que a organização do trabalho exerce sobre a saúde do trabalhador. Realizamos entrevistas semiestruturadas com professores da educação básica. Nosso trabalho de campo foi realizado em duas escolas da rede pública estadual em Goiânia. Coletamos narrativas sobre a prática da atividade docente.
