Percepção discente do ambiente educacional de residência multiprofissional em hospital universitário

Resumo: | INTRODUCTION: The educational environment has a significant impact on students' behavior and learning, being strongly related to satisfaction and success. Students are important elements in the quality of the educational environment, one of these being the residents. OBJECTIVE: To analyze the perceptions of the educational environment of the multidisciplinary health residency in a university hospital from the students' perspective. METHODS: The DREEM questionnaire was applied to all students in the multiprofessional residency program in health for the first and second years, with data analysis using the T-student test, Mann-Whitney and Kruskall Wallis. RESULTS: The total score was 85.23 (95% CI), which shows a more negative than positive educational environment. None of the 50 questions had a score above 3.5. 71.4% of the questions were identified as problematic. The three highest points are confident that I will pass this year, I have good friends on this course and I live in a comfortable place, the lowest three were: the teaching adopted is often stimulating, there is a good support program for stressed students and I rarely I feel discouraged in this course. CONCLUSIONS: The poor analysis of the educational environment, especially in the learning and social domains, may signal the need to review the educational structure of the residence as well as the creation of support for students who feel overwhelmed, stressed or unable to deal with their own insecurities and expectations as well as supporting the coping with the patient's health-disease process. A longitudinal analysis, with a larger sample or with a qualitative evaluation can also help to face the limitations of the study. The difficulties are similar to those faced by other multiprofessional residency programs in health, suggesting, therefore, that there is a systemic action by the Ministry of Health and also Brazilian Education. |

Os discentes são elementos importantes na qualidade do ambiente educacional, sendo um destes publicos os residentes. OBJETIVO: Analisar as percepções do ambiente educacional da residência multiprofissional em saúde de hospital universitário na perspectiva dos discentes. MÉTODOS: Foi aplicado o questionário DREEM a totalidade dos estudantes da residência multiprofissional em saúde do primeiro e segundo anos, feita análise de dados com teste T-student, Mann-Whitney e Kruskall Wallis. RESULTADOS: O escore total foi de 85,23 (IC 95%), o que mostra um ambiente educacional mais negativo que positivo. Nenhuma das 50 questões apresentou escore acima de 3,5. 71,4% das questões foram assinaladas como problemáticas. Os três pontos mais altos firam estou confiante que serei aprovado esse ano, tenho bons amigos neste curso e moro em lugar confortável, os três mais baixos foram: o ensino adotado é frequentemente estimulante, existe um bom programa de apoio para estudantes estressados e raramente me sinto desestimulado neste curso. CONCLUSÕES: A análise problemática do ambiente educacional, principalmente no domínio aprendizado e social, pode sinalizar a necessidade de revisão da estrutura pedagógica da residência bem como a criação de apoio ao estudante que se sente sobrecarrega, estressado ou incapaz de lidar com suas próprias inseguranças e expectativas bem como no apoio ao enfrentamento do processo saúde-doença do paciente. Uma análise longitudinal, com uma maior amostra ou com avaliação também qualitativa pode auxiliar no enfrentamento das limitações do estudo.
