Resumo: The use of ionophores as growth promoters in beef cattle is being placed as a barrier by EU countries for beef exports. Faced with this challenge, new products are researched to increase animal performance and some of the products that can be selected for such are the products with enzymatic activity. The present work aims to produce an amylolytic enzyme complex, using the fungus Aspergillus awamorii, and evaluate the performance of confined animals supplemented with this complex and amylolytic enzyme supplementation with a commercial product containing multienzyme complex, yeast, MOS, and bacterial strains. The production, characterization and evaluation of enzyme were performed at the Laboratorio de Enzimologia and Laboratorio de Fisiologia da Digestão of the Instituto de Ciências Biológicas /ICB II, Universidade Federal de of Goiás and the share of experimentation with animals was conducted in a feedlot located in Rondonópolis - MT . The tests performed were: treatment control (basal diet composed of 16% grass silage Mombasa, 66.0% ground corn, 3.0% vitamin and mineral mixture 15% cottonseed meal), UFG treatment (basal diet with the addition of 23.8 ml per animal containing 23.27 saccarificant units per ml of enzyme solution produced in Laboratório de Enzimologia da UFG, resulting in 48.67 sacarificantes units / kg diet) and Biofórmula treatment (basal diet with addition of 5 , 0 grams of enzymatic complex based on exogenous enzymes, produced by Super Premium Tecnologia em Agropecuária Ltda., composed of 10% MOS, 40% inactive yeast, saccarificant 180 units / g, resulting in 83.13 saccarificant units / kg diet). The addition of products with amylolytic activity was not significantly (P <0.05) daily weight gain, intake, feed conversion and carcass yield of feedlot cattle, probably by the amount of the enzyme complex with amylolytic activity used in the diets was not sufficient to promote the breakdown of a number of starch molecules to significantly change the availability of nutrients in the rumen, which is likely to improve the performance of these animals. There was no statistical difference between the IVDMD of the diets of this experiment, which together with consumption data, possibly explains the fact that the animals do not show any statistical difference in weight gain and feed conversion. The percentage of residual fecal starch was not influenced by supplementation with exogenous amylolytic enzymes of UFG and Biofórmula treatments. Since there was no statistical difference in the excretion of starch and IVDMD, this possibly explains the similar performance between treatments. With the data presented in this study we conclude that the extract of the fermentation of the fungus Aspergillus awamorii presents amylolytic action, but the inclusion levels of the enzyme extract and the commercial product containing multienzyme complex, yeast, and bacterial strains MOS in the diet of feedlot cattle were not effective in improving animal performance.

Diante desse desafio, novos produtos estão sendo pesquisados para incrementar o desempenho animal, dentre os quais aqueles contendo atividade enzimática. O presente trabalho teve como objetivo produzir um complexo enzimático amilolítico, utilizando o fungo Aspergillus awamorii, e avaliar o desempenho de animais confinados suplementados com este complexo enzimático amilolítico e a suplementação com um produto comercial contendo complexo multienzimático, leveduras, mananoligossacarídeos e cepas bacterianas. A produção, caracterização e avaliação enzimática foram realizadas no Laboratório de Enzimologia e Laboratório de Fisiologia da Digestão do Instituto de Ciências Biológicas/ICB II, da Universidade Federal de Goiás e a parte de experimentação com os animais foi realizada em um confinamento localizado em Rondonópolis MT. Os tratamentos experimentais realizados foram: tratamento controle (dieta base composta por 16% de silagem de capim mombaça, 66,0% de milho triturado, 3,0% de núcleo mineral vitamínico e 15% de torta de algodão), tratamento UFG (dieta base com adição de 23,8 mL por animal contendo 23,27 unidades sacarificantes por mL da solução enzimática produzida no Laboratório de Enzimologia da UFG, resultando em 48,67 unidades sacarificantes/Kg da dieta) e tratamento Biofórmula (dieta base com adição de 5,0 gramas de complexo enzimático à base de enzimas exógenas, produzido pela empresa Super Premium Tecnologia em Agropecuária Ltda, composto por 10% de mananoligossacarídeos, 40% de levedura inativa, 180 unidades sacarificantes/g, resultando em 83,13 unidades sacarificantes/Kg da dieta). A adição dos produtos com atividade amilolítica não alterou significativamente (P<0.05) o ganho de peso diário, consumo voluntário, conversão alimentar e rendimento de carcaça dos bovinos confinados, provavelmente pela quantidade do complexo enzimático com atividade amilolítica aplicado nas rações não ter sido suficiente para promover a quebra de uma quantidade de moléculas de amido significativa para alterar a disponibilidade de nutrientes no rúmen, o que provavelmente melhoraria o desempenho destes animais. Não houve diferença estatística entre as DIVMS das dietas do presente experimento, o que juntamente com os dados de consumo, possivelmente explica o fato dos animais não apresentarem diferença estatística no ganho de peso e conversão alimentar. A porcentagem de amido residual fecal não foi influenciada pela suplementação com enzimas amilolíticas exógenas dos tratamentos UFG e Biofórmula. Uma vez que não houve diferença estatística na concentração de amido residual fecal e na DIVMS, isso demonstra que os produtos testados não influenciaram na digestibilidade do amido pelo animal. Com os dados apresentados no presente trabalho pode-se concluir que os níveis de inclusão do extrato enzimático bem como o produto comercial contendo complexo multienzimático, leveduras, mananoligossacarídeos e cepas bacterianas na dieta de bovinos confinados não foram eficazes em melhorar o desempenho dos animais.Made available in DSpace on 2014-07-29T15:07:45Z (GMT).
