Desenvolvimento e validação de uma matriz de competências para cursos de Farmácia

Resumo: Introduction: The pharmaceutical study goes through several changes and structuring, in requirement to graduate generalists’ professionals, who are able to act in health care, providing pharmaceutical services, in direct contact with the patient and the community enjoying actively in multi-professional group. So, appears the necessity of professors that are committed to new teaching and evaluation methods, to the university student ́s experience with the labour market reality in an attempt to boost the search of knowledge by this university student in order to happen the development of essential skills to the formation of pharmaceutical professionals. The competence can be defined through the capacity to develop attributes (cognitive and psychomotor) and to coordinate and to mobilize knowledge to decision- making. Because of this, the necessity of building a document, which gathers essential information about principal skills that should be developed by pharmacy student. Goals: It ́s to develop and validate a pattern of competence to pharmacy courses. Methods: The article was approved by the ethics and research committee from Federal University of Goiás. It was performed a study with a quality approach through interviews searching an opinion and experience from professors who work at pharmacy courses in different research line. Professors who work in public universities from several regions of Brazil were asked to answer the interview. The interviews were conducted by means of a structured script and recorded in audio. The number of interviewed professors was based on the saturation of the contacts to join in the research. The audios were transcribed and analyzed by the qualitative analysis software called MaxQDA. Thereafter a mold of competences was composed and sent to be evaluated by professors from pharmacy course by electronic form, using Likert scale of 5 points. This evaluation was realized by Delphi method modified in two rounds. Results: The interviewed group was compounded by 25 professors who work at pharmacy courses in different research line. It allowed the identification of 71 skills shared in 7 thematic- categories: Medicine Production and Pharmaceutical Products, Pharmaceutical Logistic, Pharmaceutical care, Clinical and Toxicological Analyses, Food science and Technology, Communication, Professionalism and Management. After the evaluation and suggestions from the experts, this mold went through some changes in the formulation of the items, framework in the categories and incorporation of new items, staying with 87 skills. On the second round after a new analyses from the experts one item was excluded, ending with 86 competences. Conclusions: It was possible to know the professors professional profiles, verify their knowledge regarding the concept of competences and the thematic axes of the DCNs, also to define seven thematic categories from pharmaceutical formation and its essential competences to pharmaceutical professional in Brazil. The study allowed a composition of a competences mold to the pharmacy course which involves all the formation stages of a pharmaceutical professional. Besides, it showed, between the professors, an agreement of ideas and priority to university students formation.

Surge então a necessidade de reformulação nos currículos, surgimento de novas formas de ensino e avaliação, preocupação com a vivência da realidade profissional, na tentativa de impulsionar a busca pelo conhecimento pelo acadêmico a fim que ocorra o desenvolvimento de competências essenciais para a formação profissional do farmacêutico. Competência pode ser definida através da capacidade de desenvolver atributos (cognitivos, psicomotores) e de articular e mobilizar conhecimento para tomada de decisão. Por isso a necessidade da construção de um documento que reúna informações imprescindíveis sobre as principais competências que devem ser desenvolvidas pelo acadêmico do curso de farmácia. Objetivo: Desenvolver e validar uma matriz de competências para cursos de farmácia. Métodos: O trabalho foi aprovado pelo Comitê de Ética e Pesquisa da Universidade Federal de Goiás. Foi realizado um estudo com abordagem qualitativa por meio de entrevistas, em busca da opinião e experiência dos docentes que atuam no curso de farmácia nas mais diversas áreas. Foram convidados docentes que atuam em Universidades Públicas de várias regiões do Brasil. As entrevistas foram conduzidas por meio de um roteiro semi-estruturado e gravadas em áudio. O número de docentes entrevistados foi baseado na saturação dos contatos para a participação da pesquisa. Os áudios foram transcritos e analisados por meio do software de análise qualitativa MaxQDA. A partir desta análise uma matriz de competências foi composta e enviada para avaliação por docentes do curso de farmácia, por meio de um formulário eletrônico, utilizou-se uma escala de Likert de 5 pontos. Essa avaliação foi realizada pelo método Delphi modificado em duas rodadas. Resultados: O grupo entrevistado foi formado por 25 docentes atuantes nos cursos de Farmácia de diferentes áreas de especialidade. Permitiu a identificação de 71 competências divididas em 7 domínios de categorias temáticas: Produção de Medicamentos e Produtos Farmacêuticos, Logística Farmacêutica, Cuidado Farmacêutico, Análises Clínicas e Toxicológicas, Ciências e Tecnologia dos Alimentos, Comunicação e Profissionalismo e Gestão. Após a avaliação e sugestões dos especialistas esta matriz passou por algumas modificações na formulação dos itens, enquadramento dentro dos domínios e incorporação de novos itens e apresentou-se com 87 competências. Na segunda rodada, após nova análise dos especialistas um item foi excluído, finalizando a matriz com 86 competências. Conclusões: Foi possível conhecer o perfil profissiográfico dos docentes participantes da pesquisa, verificar seu conhecimento frente o conceito de competências e dos eixos temáticos das DCNs, definir sete domínios de categorias temáticas da formação farmacêutica, e suas competências essenciais para a formação do profissional farmacêutico no Brasil. O estudo permitiu a composição e validação de uma matriz de competências para o curso de farmácia que engloba todas as etapas da formação do profissional farmacêutico. Conclusions: It was possible to know the professors professional profiles, verify their knowledge regarding the concept of competences and the thematic axes of the DCNs, also to define seven thematic categories from pharmaceutical formation and its essential competences to pharmaceutical professional in Brazil. The study allowed a composition of a competences mold to the pharmacy course which involves all the formation stages of a pharmaceutical professional. Besides, it showed, between the professors, an agreement of ideas and priority to university students formation.
