Resumo: | At analyzing the discourse is somehow understand the relatively concrete historical relations strategies that are present in any said and that constitute our practices. Thus, from the theoretical and methodological assumptions of the French Discourse Analysis, this study aimed to analyze the enunciated made possible the establishment of a discursive event marked by polemic about the book Por uma vida melhor, which is distributed by the MEC and for the training of youth and adults. In May 2011 there was a large multiplication of conflicts, via the media, about the possible "error Portuguese" contained in the aforementioned book. In the course of the event was much said about the right and wrong ways to teach the Portuguese language and especially about an alleged negligence by the government that had allowed such an error would freely taught. The analysis undertaken aimed at understanding how our society has handled the issues of language, more specifically, the Portuguese language and its teaching and offer a discursive reading about the issue. Such a reading sought to implement an analysis that went beyond of the justifications that were worth only the questions on the linguistic prejudice or lack of knowledge about the Linguistic's study and that could make arise the result of regulated practices, which allow the creation of objects. By bringing the concept of discursive event, our research effected delimitation the archive, and departed from the idea that the production of discourses is controlled, regulated, distributed and also defines the constitution of the subject and can only be effected in truth games. This way, the main hypothesis was put forward that the existence of a confrontation, through the polemic, between a favorable position the practices of Linguistics and positioning, allow us to observe a more complex scenario. Anyway, the discursive analysis performed during the research did not seek to present a critique of the positions analyzed, but offered a reading of the constitution of those positions and their relation to the instance of discursive event. |

Dessa maneira, a partir dos pressupostos teóricos e metodológicos da Análise do Discurso francesa, este estudo se propôs analisar os enunciados tornados possíveis na constituição de um acontecimento discursivo marcado pela polêmica sobre o livro Por uma vida melhor, o qual é distribuído pelo MEC e destinado à formação de jovens e adultos. Em maio de 2011 houve um grande fervilhar de embates, via mídia, sobre o possível “erro de português” contido no mencionado livro. No desenrolar do acontecimento muito foi dito a respeito do certo e errado, os modos de ensinar a língua portuguesa e, principalmente, a respeito de uma suposta negligência por parte do poder público que permitira que tal erro fosse livremente ensinado. A análise empreendida teve como objetivo compreender a maneiracomo a nossa sociedade tem tratado as questões do linguístico, mais especificamente, a língua portuguesa e seu ensino e oferecer uma leitura discursiva a respeito da questão. Tal leitura buscou empreender uma análise que fosse além das justificativas que se valiam apenas das questões sobre o preconceito linguístico ou a falta de conhecimento acerca dos estudos da Linguística e que pudesse fazer surgir o resultado de práticas reguladas, as quais permitem a criação dos objetos. Ao trazer o conceito de acontecimento discursivo, a nossa pesquisa efetivou uma delimitação de arquivo, bem como partiu da ideia de que a produção dos discursos é controlada, regulada, distribuída e, também, delimita a própria constituição dos sujeitos, bem como só pode ser efetivada no interior de jogos de verdade. Dessa maneira, a principal hipótese defendida foi de que a existência de um confronto, por meio da polêmica, entre um posicionamento favorável às práticas da Linguística e um posicionamento contrário nos permitiria observar um cenário mais complexo.
