Resumo: The year of 2022 was a very intense and challenging year, despite the fact that we celebrated the Bicentennial of our country's independence, we learned that there is still much to conquer to ensure that Brazil is indeed a fair, sovereign, and independent country. The general elections held in October gave us a panorama of the challenges to be faced to fight hunger, misery, false news, authoritarianism, negationism, and the dismantling promoted by a government that has cut investments in education, research, and universities.

Las elecciones generales celebradas en octubre nos ofrecieron un panorama de los retos que hay que afrontar para combatir el hambre, la miseria, las noticias falsas, el autoritarismo, el negacionismo, el desmantelamiento promovido por un gobierno que recortó las inversiones en educación, investigación y universidades.O ano de 2022 foi um ano muito intenso e desafiador, em que pese comemorarmos o bicentenário da nossa independência, aprendemos que ainda há muito a conquistar para garantir que o Brasil seja de fato um país justo, soberano e independente.
