THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE COURSE (GRADUATION) OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION OF UFLA:: WHAT DOES THE THEMATIC ORAL HISTORY TELL US?

Resumo: The article sought to analyze the historical development of the graduation course in Physical Education of UFLA. Thematic Oral History was used as a method of analysis. Observing the collated data, it was inferred that the course in question presented a set of catalysts for its development, emphasizing in the first moment the activities of teaching, research and extension, as fundamental for its development, in spite of the reduced number of teachers who worked in it. It can also be verified that the same in it’s along course established an organic relationship with the city of Lavras, and sports were agent to dynamize this relationship, in spite of the risks of incurring in "epistemological reductionism", when conceiving it as a purpose formative for the area.

Se utilizó como método de análisis la historia oral temática. Observando los datos cotejados, se deduce que el curso en cuestión presentó un conjunto de catalizadores para su desarrollo, destacándose en el primer momento las actividades de las actividades de enseño, investigación y extensión, como fundamental para su desarrollo, a pesar del pequeño número de maestros que trabajaron en ella. Se puede constatar también que el mismo en su curso estableció una relación orgánica junto a la ciudad de Lavras, siendo el deporte el agente dinamizador de esa relación, en que pese los riesgos de incurrir en el "reduccionismo epistemológico", al concebirlo como solamente finalidad formativa para el área.O artigo procurou analisar o desenvolvimento histórico do curso de Licenciatura em Educação Física da UFLA. Utilizou-se como método de análise a História Oral temática. Observando os dados cotejados, inferiu-se que o curso em questão apresentou um conjunto de catalisadores para o seu desenvolvimento, destacando-se num primeiro momento às atividades de ensino, a pesquisa e a extensão, como fundamentais para seu desenvolvimento, apesar do número reduzido de docentes que nele atuava.
