Resumo: The aim of the study was to evaluate body dissatisfaction of soccer indoor and swimming athletes and relate it to anthropometric variables and the degree of psychological commitment to exercise. We evaluated 58 male athletes. We applied the Body Shape Questionnaire (BSQ) and Dedication to Exercise Scale (EDE) in order to verify the degree of body dissatisfaction and psychological commitment to exercise, respectively. We used the SPSS 17.0 software by applying the Kolmogorov Smirnov statistical tests, Pearson correlation and chi-square. There were significant differences (p<0.05) between body dissatisfaction soccer indoor athletes and swimmers, which is not identified to the scores of the EDE. Only in the swimming group found a significant association (x2 = 12.5, p <0.05) between nutritional status and body dissatisfaction. It was concluded that swimming athletes are more dissatisfied with their bodies in relation to soccer indoor.Keywords: Body Image. Athletes. Anthropometric.

Anthropometric.El objetivo del estudio fue evaluar la insatisfacción corporal y los atletas de piscina cubierta y se refieren a las variables antropométricas y el grado de compromiso psicológico para hacer ejercicio. Se evaluaron 58 atletas masculinos. Hemos aplicado el BSQ (BSQ) y la dedicación al ejercicio de escala (EDE), con el fin de verificar el grado de insatisfacción con el cuerpo y el compromiso psicológico para el ejercicio, respectivamente. Se utilizó el programa SPSS 17.0 software mediante la aplicación de la prueba de Kolmogorov Smirnov pruebas estadísticas de correlación de Pearson y chi-cuadrado. Hubo diferencias significativas (p<0,05) entre los atletas de futsal insatisfacción corporal y los nadadores, que no se identifica con las puntuaciones de la EDE. Sólo en el grupo de natación encontró una asociación significativa (x2 = 12.5, p <0,05) entre el estado nutricional y la insatisfacción corporal. Se concluyó que los atletas de natación están más insatisfechos con sus cuerpos en relación con el fútbol sala. Palabras clave: La Imagen Corporal. Los Atletas. Antropometria.O objetivo do estudo foi avaliar a insatisfação corporal de atletas de natação e futsal e relacioná-la com variáveis antropométricas e o grau de dedicação psicológica ao exercício. Foram avaliados 58 atletas do sexo masculino. Aplicaram-se o Body Shape Questionnaire (BSQ) e a Escala de Dedicação ao Exercício (EDE) com intuito de verificar a insatisfação corporal e o grau de dedicação psicológica ao exercício, respectivamente.
