Resumo: Sports and leisure projects appear increasingly linked to activities of curricular complement presenting justifications of implementation that range from the discourse to the improvement of the quality of education to the perspective of gradual expansion of the school day. Thus, in the context of the discipline physical education was aimed to understand if the physical infrastructure of schools can influence the existence of sports and leisure projects. We analyzed 1,262 state schools in Paraná and the data showed that the type of infrastructure available at the school is a determining factor.

Así, en el contexto de la disciplina educación física se objetivó comprender si la infraestructura física de las escuelas puede influenciar la existencia de proyectos de deporte y ocio. Se analizaron 1.262 escuelas estatales de Paraná y los datos mostraron que el tipo de infraestructura disponible en la escuela es factor determinante.Projetos de esporte e lazer aparecem cada vez mais atrelados a atividades de complemento curricular apresentando justificativas de implantação que vão desde o discurso para a melhoria da qualidade da educação até a perspectiva de ampliação gradual da jornada escolar. Assim, no contexto da disciplina educação física objetivou-se compreender se a infraestrutura física das escolas pode influenciar a existência de projetos de esporte e lazer.
