Resumo: The general objective of the research is to analyze the vegetation fragments of Hydrographic Basin of Alto Jacuí (BHAJ) aiming at the expansion of Ecological Corridor of Quarta Colônia. Thus, we have as specific objectives: identifying the Ecological Corridor of Quarta Colônia area in BHAJ; delimiting and mapping of vegetation fragments present in BHAJ; carrying out the data overlap obtained in mapping of vegetation fragments of BHAJ with the limits of Ecological Corridor of Quarta Colônia; suggesting, through the principles of Landscape ecology and Geoecology, the area expansion of Ecological Corridor of Quarta Colônia through the incorporation of new vegetation fragments of Atlantic Forest Biome presents in BHAJ. Therefore, we performed bibliographic research, thematic mapping and fieldwork. Among the results, we highlight: identification of 14 areas to incorporate and expand the Ecological Corridor of Quarta Colônia (core zone) that are a continuation of vegetation fragments of Atlantic Forest Biome, which have already been defined as core zone of the Atlantic Forest Biosphere Reserve.Keywords: Vegetation Fragments; Atlantic Forest Biome; Atlantic Forest Biosphere Reserve; Environmental Services.

Así, se tiene como objetivos específicos: identificar el área del Pasillo Ecológico de la Cuarta Colonia en la CHAJ; delimitar y mapear los fragmentos de vegetación presentes en la CHAJ; realizar la superposición de los datos obtenidos en la cartografía de los fragmentos de vegetación de la CHAJ con los límites del Pasillo Ecológico de la Cuarta Colonia; proponer, a través de los principios de la Ecología del Paisaje y Geoecología, la ampliación del área del Pasillo Ecológico de la Cuarta Colonia a través de la incorporación de nuevos fragmentos de vegetación del Bioma Mata Atlántica presentes en la CHAJ. Por lo tanto, se realizaron investigaciones bibliográficas, cartografías temáticas y trabajos de campo. Entre los resultados se destaca: la identificación de 14 áreas para incorporar y ampliar el Pasillo Ecológico de la Cuarta Colonia (zona núcleo) que dan continuidad a fragmentos de vegetación del Bioma Mata Atlántica, que ya fueron definidos como zona núcleo de la Reserva de la Biosfera Mata Atlántica.Palabras clave: Fragmentos de Vegetación; Bioma Mata Atlántica; Reserva de la Biosfera Mata Atlántica; Servicios Ambientales.O objetivo geral da pesquisa é analisar os fragmentos de vegetação da Bacia Hidrográfica do Alto Jacuí (BHAJ) visando a ampliação do Corredor Ecológico da Quarta Colônia. Assim, têm-se como objetivos específicos: identificar a área do Corredor Ecológico da Quarta Colônia na BHAJ; delimitar e mapear os fragmentos de vegetação presentes na BHAJ; realizar a sobreposição dos dados obtidos no mapeamento dos fragmentos de vegetação da BHAJ com os limites do Corredor Ecológico da Quarta Colônia; propor, através dos princípios da Ecologia da Paisagem e Geoecologia, a ampliação da área do Corredor Ecológico da Quarta Colônia atravésda incorporação de novos fragmentos de vegetação do Bioma Mata Atlântica presentes na BHAJ. Portanto, realizaram-se pesquisas bibliográficas, mapeamentos temáticos e trabalhos de campo.
