Resumo: In the state of Sergipe there are several Catholic Religious Parties, performed by the archdioceses, dioceses, vicariates, parishes, chapels or spontaneously by the people. Those parties express faith, gratitude, reverence and devotion to the patron saint. Among all the parties, the Saint Joseph’s is the most celebrated in the state with the largest number of churches involved. This article intends to discuss the scenery of Saint Joseph’s party in Pedrinhas city, countryside of Sergipe, trying to comprehend its mobilities, permanencies and singularities. This party is considered the most important on the county party calendar. This work was made by local observations, both of the preparation and of the celebration itself, application of questionnaires, interviews with participants and party organizers, and photographic record. Fiestas expresan un momento de fe, gratitud, reverencia y devoción a la patrona. Entre todos los santos católicos, San José es el más conmemorado en Sergipe, estado que tiene el mayor número de iglesias que lo veneran como protector. El presente artículo discute el paisaje de la fiesta de San José en Pedrinhas, ciudad de Sergipe, con el objetivo de comprender sus movilidades, las permanencias y las singularidades visto que ese es el día más importante del calendario festivo del municipio. El trabajo se llevó a cabo por medio de observaciones in loco, tanto de los preparativos como del festejo propiamente dicho, aplicación de cuestionarios, entrevistas con participantes y organizadores de la fiesta, y registro fotográfico. Palabras clave: Fiesta religiosa, Patrón, San José, Paisaje.Em Sergipe, as festas religiosas católicas são numerosas. Elas são realizadas pelas arquidioceses, dioceses, vicariatos, paróquias, capelas ou, espontaneamente, pelo povo. Essas festas expressam um momento de fé, agradecimento, reverência e devoção ao santo padroeiro. Dentre todos os padroeiros católicos, São José é o mais comemorado em Sergipe, estado que possui o maior número de igrejas envolvidas. O presente artigo discute a paisagem da Festa de São José – considerada a mais importante do calendário festivo da cidade sergipana de Pedrinhas –, buscando compreender suas mobilidades, permanências e singularidades. O trabalho foi realizado por meio de observações in loco, tanto dos preparativos como do festejo propriamente dito, aplicação de questionários, entrevistas com participantes e organizadores da festa, e registro fotográfico.
