In viewofthis, theobjectiveofthisworkistocarry out a collaborative mapping ofthe living spacesofGeographystudentsatFederal Universityof Santa Maria, in ordertounderstandthe social, economicandleisurerelationshipsthattheyexperience in Santa Maria (RS) and region. The projectwasdeveloped in theCanvisapplicationandthe points wereentered in QGIS 3.4. Studentscanbedividedintotwogroups: oneofthosewho live withtheirfamilies, live in peripheralneighborhoodsand use businesses such as largehypermarketchains; andanotherofthosewho use real estateservices, sincetheylived in municipalities in the interior, movingtothe Centro andCamobineighborhoods, withaccesstomediumtosmall businesses. Territories.Actualmente, gran parte de la población tiene acceso a aplicaciones de localización, en consecuencia, cualquier individuo puede convertirse en productor de Información Geográfica Voluntaria (IGV). Ante esto, el objetivo de este trabajo es realizar unmapeo colaborativo de los espacios de vida de los estudiantes de Geografía de la Universidade X, con el fin de comprender las relaciones sociales, económicas y de ocio que vivenen Santa María (RS) y la región. El proyecto fue desarrollado en la aplicación Canvis y los puntos fueron ingresados ​​en QGIS 3.4. Los estudiantes se pueden dividir en dos grupos: uno de los que vivencon sus familias, viven en barrios periféricos y utilizan negocios como grandes cadenas de hipermercados; y otro de los que utilizan servicios inmobiliarios, ya que vivieron e nmunicipios del interior, trasladándose a los barrios Centro y Camobi, con acceso a medianos y pequeños negocios. Los datos del VGI demostraron la importancia de la Universidad como factor de desarrollo local y regional. Palabras clave: VGI. Cartografía social. Universidad. Territorios.Atualmente, grande parte da população tem acesso a aplicativos de localização, consequentemente, qualquer indivíduo pode se tornar um produtor de Informação Geográfica Voluntária (VGI). Diante disso, o objetivo deste trabalho é realizar o mapeamento colaborativo dos espaços de vivência de estudantes de Geografia da Universidade Federal de Santa Maria, para compreender as relações sociais, econômicas e de lazer que eles vivenciam em Santa Maria (RS) e região. O projeto foi desenvolvido no aplicativo Canvise os pontos foram inseridos no QGIS 3.4. Pode-se dividir os estudantes em dois grupos: um dos que vivem com suas famílias, residem em bairros periféricos e utilizam comércios como grandes redes de hipermercados; e outro dos que utilizam os serviços imobiliários, pois viviam em municípios do interior, passando a residir nos bairros Centro e Camobi, com acesso a comércios de médio a pequeno porte. Os dados VGI demonstraram a importância da Universidade como fator de desenvolvimento local e regional. Palavras-chave: VGI. Cartografia Social. Universidade.
