Interactions between atmosphere-land-ocean and their repercussions on the mean precipitation recorded in the eastern Northeast of Brazil

Resumo: The text tries to explain climatic differences existing in the east of the Northeast region of Brazil motivated by local atmospheric circulation phenomena, influenced by atmospheric pressure differences in the average state of the atmosphere, considering the atmosphere-land-ocean interactions in the area. Literature review, analysis and interpretation of satellite images and normal weather of the area were done. We identified that the phenomena of land-sea breezes and local differences in the barometric ocean-land contrasts are responsible for important climatic differences in the area. This work of Regional Geography has filled a gap in scientific knowledge identified since the 1970s. Se realizaron revisiones de literatura, análisis e interpretación de imágenes de satélite y de las normales climatológicas del área. Se identificó que los fenómenos de brisa tierra-mar y diferencias locales de los contrastes barométricos océano-tierra son responsables por importantes diferenciaciones climáticas en el área. Este trabajo de Geografía a escala regional llenó una brecha en el conocimiento científico identificada desde la década de 1970. Foram realizadas revisão de literatura, análise e interpretação de imagens de satélite e das normais climatológicas da área. Foi identificado que os fenômenos de brisa terra-mar e diferenças locais nos contrastes barométricos oceano-terra são responsáveis por importantes diferenciações climáticas na área. Esse trabalho de Geografia em escala Regional preencheu uma lacuna no conhecimento científico identificada desde a década de 1970.
