Resumo: In this experiment, 597 rapid serum-agglutination test plate were carried out in order to detect undulant fever in horses from seven counties in the state of Goiás. 1.3% of the cases were positive, 7.2% of the cases were suspected to have undulant fever, and 9l,5% of the cases were negative. A predominance of 1:100 was observed. The authors concluded that the relatively low rate of undulant fever, will be increased if an adequate prophylactic program is not applied.

Foram realizados 597 exames de soroaglutinação rápida em placa para brucelose em eqüinos de sete municípios goianos. Encontram-se média de 1,3% de positivos, 7,2% de suspeitos e 91,5% de negativos. Observou-se ainda uma predominância no título 1:100.
