Resumo: Brazil is one of the countries with the greatest vegetal diversity in the world, especially for the Myrtaceae family, to which the jabuticaba tree belongs. Its fruits are of great acceptability, but it is little explored commercially, because it takes a long time to reach the production stage. This study aimed to evaluate the vegetative and reproductive behavior of hybrid jabuticaba trees under flowering induction treatments. A randomized block design was used, with the following treatments: calcium carbide, etefon, paclobutrazol, daily irrigation management and control. Growth and reproductive development data were evaluated. For vegetative growth, there was no difference among the treatments, demonstrating no negative effect. On the other hand, paclobutrazol showed to be the most promising treatment, because it anticipates flowering, is effective in induction and results in a higher production.

Escola de Agronomia - Universidade Federal de Goiás2018-06-15info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionAvaliado por paresapplication/pdfhttps://revistas.ufg.br/pat/article/view/51911Pesquisa Agropecuária Tropical [Agricultural Research in the Tropics]; v. 48, n. 2, Apr./Jun. 2018; 118-125Pesquisa Agropecuária Tropical (Agricultural Research in the Tropics); v. 48, n. 2, abr./jun. 2018; 118-125Pesquisa Agropecuária Tropical; v. 48, n. 2, abr./jun. 2018; 118-1251983-4063reponame:Pesquisa Agropecuária Tropical (Online)instname:Universidade Federal de Goiás (UFG)instacron:UFGenghttps://revistas.ufg.br/pat/article/view/51911/25672Copyright (c) 2018 Pesquisa Agropecuária Tropical (Agricultural Research in the Tropics)info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessKosera Neto, CarlosHack Porto, Alexandreda Silva, MarciéliCristina Radaelli, JulianaWagner Júnior, Américo2020-07-13T19:04:51Zoai:ojs.revistas.ufg.br:article/51911Revistahttps://revistas.ufg.br/patPUBhttps://revistas.ufg.br/pat/oaiaseleguini.pat@gmail.com||mgoes@agro.ufg.br1983-40631517-6398opendoar:2024-05-21T19:56:20.199959Pesquisa Agropecuária Tropical (Online) - Universidade Federal de Goiás (UFG)true
