Resumo: | Soil temperatures regimes in dark red dystrophic oxysoil were studied in Goiânia, Goiás, Brazil. Data were collected at ";Escola de Agronomia e Engenharia de Alimentos"; wether station, in Federal University of Goiás. A large average soil temperature variation was observed at different depths during the year, with the smallest values corresponding to the winter months. The highest observed temperature was 40.1°C, in September, on the soil surface; the lowest was 18.3°C that was observed at ten centimeters below the surface, in July. Avaliou-se o regime térmico em um latossolo vermelho escuro distrófico, no município de de Goiânia, Estado de Goiás, com dados coletados na Estação Evaporimétrica de 1ª Classe, da Escola de Agronomia e Engenharia de Alimentos da Universidade Federal de Goiás, entre 1980 e 1989. As leituras diárias foram realizadas às 9h 00m e 15h 00m. Observou-se uma grande variação nos valores de temperatura do perfil do solo, durante todos os meses do ano, sendo os menores valores observados nos meses de inverno. Quanto aos valores extremos, encontrou-se 40,1°C e 18,3°C, como sendo o maior valor médio mensal para a camada superficial (0 cm), no mês de setembro, e o menor valor médio mensal, para a camada de 10 cm, no mês de julho, respectivamente.
