Resumo: A trial was carried out in order to evaluate the inclusion of pearl millet (Pennisetum americanum) in swine finisher ration. Twenty cross-bred swine (Landrace x Large White) weighing 53.00kg had in their rations different levels of millet (0, 25, 50, 75 and 100%) in substitution to the digestible energy furnished by corn. The experimental design used was the completely randomized in a factorial scheme (5 replacement levels x 2 sexes). With the results obtained in this experiment, one may infer that the substitution of corn by millet is possible to finisher swine rations. KEY-WORDS: Millets; pig; finishing.
