Resumo: The bean leafhopper (Empoasca kraemeri, Ross & Moore), a common pest of bean crops, is known in many regions in Brazil. In order to determine the efficiency of clorpyrifos to control the bean leafhopper, a field experiment was carried out in Goiânia - Goiás state, Brazil. The treatments and dosages in grams of active ingredients per ha were: clorpyrifos (288, 384 and 480), metamidophos (600), monocrotophos (400) and an untreated check. The results obtained in this experiment showed that clorpyrifos, at the cited dosage, was efficient in controlling the bean leafhopper in bean crops. It was similar to the results of metamidophos and monocrotophos. None of the insecticides, at the dosages used, were toxic to the plants.

It was similar to the results of metamidophos and monocrotophos. None of the insecticides, at the dosages used, were toxic to the plants. Escola de Agronomia - Universidade Federal de Goiás2007-12-05info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionAvaliado por paresapplication/pdfhttps://revistas.ufg.br/pat/article/view/2628Pesquisa Agropecuária Tropical [Agricultural Research in the Tropics]; v. 23, n. 1, Jan./Dec. 1993; 55-61Pesquisa Agropecuária Tropical (Agricultural Research in the Tropics); v. 23, n. 1, jan./dez. 1993; 55-61Pesquisa Agropecuária Tropical; v. 23, n. 1, jan./dez. 1993; 55-611983-4063reponame:Pesquisa Agropecuária Tropical (Online)instname:Universidade Federal de Goiás (UFG)instacron:UFGporhttps://revistas.ufg.br/pat/article/view/2628/2600Silva, Antônio Lopes daVeloso, Valquíria Rocha dos SantosPereira, Hélder Luiz AlmeidaSouza Neto, Francisco TeodoroMendonça, Roberto Carlosinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess2009-06-17T20:18:11Zoai:ojs.revistas.ufg.br:article/2628Revistahttps://revistas.ufg.br/patPUBhttps://revistas.ufg.br/pat/oaiaseleguini.pat@gmail.com||mgoes@agro.ufg.br1983-40631517-6398opendoar:2024-05-21T19:55:18.231353Pesquisa Agropecuária Tropical (Online) - Universidade Federal de Goiás (UFG)true
