Resumo: This study was carried out at Escola de Agronomia - UFG, under greenhouse conditions in Goiânia, GO (Lat. l6°40'00"; W, Long. 49°15'00"; S, Alt. 741.48m) from January to April, 1996. The purpose was to evaluate the behavior of ‘FT-Cristalina’, ‘EMGOPA-313’, 'FT-Estrela’, 'FT-Seriema’ and ‘Doko-RC’ soybean cultivars, under different inoculum concentrations of soybean cyst nematode Heterodera glycines. The experimental design was completely randomized, in factorial scheme 5 x 4, with four replications. The nematode population, 110 days after sowing, was not influenced by soybean cultivars and by inoculum concentration. High environmental temperature levels could have affected nematode infestation. Sob diferentes concentrações de inóculo de Heterodera glycines, foi avaliado o comportamento das cultivares de soja ‘FT-Cristalina’, ‘EMGOPA-313’, 'FT-Estrela’, 'FT-Seriema’ e ‘Doko-RC’, recomendadas para o Estado de Goiás. O ensaio foi conduzido sob condições de casa de vegetação, na Escota de Agronomia - UFG, no município de Goiânia, GO (latitude 16°40'00" W, longitude 49°15’00” S, altitude 741,48 m) no período de janeiro a maio de 1996. O delineamento experimental adotado foi inteiramente casualizado, em esquema fatorial 5 x 4, com 4 repetições. A população de H. glycines, aos 110 dias após a semeadura, não foi influenciada pela cultivar de soja nem pela concentração inicial de inóculo. A ocorrência de temperaturas ambientes muito elevadas pode ter afetado a infestação do nematóide.
