The rising of pretonic vowel /E/ on the cult speach of Fortaleza under the variation perspective

Resumo: Based on Sociolinguistica Variacionista, this work studies the rising of thevowel /E/ pretonic in the enlightened speech of Fortaleza-CE The objectiveof this work is to investigate the performance of linguistic and social factorson the phenomenon. For this, we selected a speech sample composed of 34informants from the PORCUFORT database. The selected informants werestratified by sex, age group and type of survey. In all, we collected 1,821 data that were submitted to the analysis of the Goldvarb X program. The results revealed that the palatal antecedent phonological context and the age range of the elderly favor the rising of the vowel / E / pretonic.

El objetivo de este trabajo es investigar la actuación de los factores lingüísticos y sociales sobre ese fenómeno. Para ello, seleccionamos una muestra de lenguaje oral compuesto por 34 informantes oriundos de la base de datos PORCUFORT. Los informantes seleccionados fueron estratificados por sexo, faja etaria y tipo de encuesta. En total, recopilamos 1.821 datos que fueron sometidos al análisis del programa Goldvarb X. Los resultados mostraron que el contexto fonológico precedente palatal y la faja etaria de los ancianos favorecen el alteamiento de la vocal /E/ pretónica.Embasadas na Sociolinguística Variacionista, pesquisamos o alteamento da vogal /E/ pretônica no falar culto de Fortaleza ? CE. O objetivo deste trabalho é investigar a atuação dos fatores linguísticos e extralinguísticos sobre o fenômeno. Para isso, selecionamos uma amostra de fala composta por 34 informantes do banco de dados PORCUFORT. Os informantes selecionados foram estratificados em sexo, faixa etária e tipo de inquérito. Ao todo, coletamos 1.821 dados que foram submetidos à análise estatística do programa Goldvarb X.
