Resumo: This paper analyzes the construction of image in descriptive sequencesproduced by non-literate speakers in spontaneous face to face interactions.Based on image conception (PALMER, 1996) and descriptive sequencesconception (ADAM, 1993), it investigates how linguistics constructions evokemental images and how the speakers translate these images in the lexicalchoices.
