Resumo: | This study aims to analyze the fundamentals of education to understand the importance of school in prison and on the dialogical relationship between education and prison control. It seeks to assess the importance and potential of it for human development and for resocialization when applied in the prison system. It also aims to foster the debate about education aimed at young people and adults who are incarcerated, demonstrating the importance of prison education for inmates. It is unusual for society in general to think about education in this context, so the need to stimulate discussions on the subject, since the prison system encompasses a community of individuals who are already deprived of the right to freedom, but do not need to be deprived of their right to education. Finally, this paper will discuss the challenges encountered in the field of prison education, as well as its potential for transformation and reintegration of detainees in society. |

Su objetivo es evaluar la importancia y el potencial de la misma para el desarrollo humano y para la resocialización cuando se aplica en el sistema penitenciario. También tiene como objetivo fomentar el debate sobre la educación dirigida a los jóvenes y adultos encarcelados, demostrando la importancia de la educación penitenciaria para los reclusos. Es inusual que la sociedad en general piense en la educación en este contexto, por lo que la necesidad de estimular los debates sobre el tema, ya que el sistema penitenciario abarca una comunidad de personas que ya están privadas del derecho a la libertad, pero no necesitan ser privadas de su derecho a la educación. Por último, en este documento se debatirán los desafíos que se enfrentan en el ámbito de la educación penitenciaria, así como su potencial de transformación y reinserción de los detenidos en la sociedad. Cette étude vise à analyser les fondamentaux de l’éducation pour comprendre l’importance de l’école en prison et sur la relation dialogique entre l’éducation et le contrôle carcéral. Il cherche à évaluer l’importance et le potentiel de celui-ci pour le développement humain et pour la resocialisation lorsqu’il est appliqué dans le système carcéral. Il vise également à favoriser le débat sur l’éducation destinée aux jeunes et aux adultes incarcérés, démontrant l’importance de l’éducation pénitentiaire pour les détenus. Il est inhabituel que la société en général pense à l’éducation dans ce contexte, de sorte que la nécessité de stimuler les discussions sur le sujet, puisque le système carcéral englobe une communauté de personnes qui sont déjà privées du droit à la liberté, mais qui n’ont pas besoin d’être privées de leur droit à l’éducation. Enfin, ce document abordera les défis rencontrés dans le domaine de l’éducation pénitentiaire, ainsi que son potentiel de transformation et de réinsertion des détenus dans la société. Questo studio si propone di analizzare i fondamenti dell'educazione per comprendere l'importanza della scuola in carcere e sul rapporto dialogico tra educazione e controllo carcerario. Essa cerca di valutarne l'importanza e il potenziale per lo sviluppo umano e per la risocializzazione se applicata nel sistema carcerario. Mira inoltre a promuovere il dibattito sull'istruzione rivolta ai giovani e agli adulti incarcerati, dimostrando l'importanza dell'educazione carceraria per i detenuti. È insolito che la società in generale pensi all'istruzione in questo contesto, quindi la necessità di stimolare le discussioni sull'argomento, poiché il sistema carcerario comprende una comunità di individui che sono già privati del diritto alla libertà, ma non hanno bisogno di essere privati del loro diritto all'istruzione. Infine, questo documento discuterà le sfide incontrate nel campo dell'educazione carceraria, nonché il suo potenziale di trasformazione e reinserimento dei detenuti nella società. O presente estudo tem como objetivo analisar os fundamentos da educação para a compreensão da importância da escola na prisão e sobre a relação dialógica entre a educação e o controle carcerário. Busca-se aferir a importância e o potencial dela para de desenvolvimento humano e para a ressocialização quando aplicada no sistema prisional. Visa ainda, fomentar o debate acerca da educação voltada para os jovens e adultos que se encontram encarcerados, demonstrando a importância da educação no âmbito prisional para o detento. É incomum que a sociedade em geral pense na educação neste contexto, por isso a necessidade de estimular as discussões acerca do tema, uma vez que o sistema prisional engloba uma comunidade de indivíduos que já se encontram privados do direito à liberdade, mas não precisam ser privados do seu direito à educação.
