Resumo: The dynamics of the soybean and corn complex has led as the main commodities of Brazilian agribusiness. The objective of this study was to analyze the economic viability of soybean and corn crops in the 2018/2019 crop. The crops were conducted in different areas and evaluated at 1 hectare. The indicators were applied: gross revenue (RB), operating income (LO), profitability index (IL), net present value (NPV), benefit-cost ratio (R B/C) and payback cashed. Profitability analyses showed the economic viability of soybeans and summer corn, with operating profit exceeding the cost of production. The economic indicators attest to the profitability of the crops, showing a return from the 1st year and a ratio of B/C above R$1.00. In this study, soybean and corn production systems were viable in the 2018/19 crop, with higher financial return in soybean cultivation.

Objetivou-se analisar a viabilidade econômica dos cultivos de soja e milho na safra 2018/2019. As culturas foram conduzidas em áreas distintas e avaliadas em 1 hectare. Foram aplicados os indicadores: receita bruta (RB), lucro operacional (LO), índice de lucratividade (IL), valor presente líquido (VPL), relação benefício-custo (R B/C) e payback descontado. As análises de rentabilidade demostraram a viabilidade econômica da soja e do milho verão, sendo o lucro operacional superior ao custo de produção. Os indicadores econômicos atestam a lucratividade das culturas, apresentando retorno a partir do 1º ano e relação B/C acima de R$1,00.
