Nivel de atividade física em escolares: revisão sistemática da literatura

Resumo: O sedentarismo é um dos principais causadores de doenças crônicas não-transmissíveis (DCNT). Aliado de vários outros fatores, o índice de sobrepeso e obesidade vem crescendo muito. O nível de atividade física (NAF) é um marcador usado para estimar comportamento sedentário, balanço energético, entre outros. Assim o objetivo desse trabalho foi analisar por meio da literatura cientifica, o nível de atividade física de escolares e fatores associados. Foi feita uma busca no banco de dados da Scielo, associando as palavras-chave “Sedentarismo”, “Nível de Atividade Física” e “Escolares. Foram inclusos 23 artigos na revisão. Os resultados apresentam uma prevalência total de 49,16% ativos e 50,83% inativos. Metade das crianças e adolescentes foram classificadas como inativas. Portanto, sabendo do risco do sedentarismo, cabe o consentimento e estratégias de intervenções por parte dos profissionais de Educação Física, da educação, da saúde e dos pais.

Allied to several other factors, the rate of overweight and obesity has been growing a lot. The level of physical activity (NAF) is a marker used to estimate sedentary behavior, energy balance, among others. Thus the objective of this study was to analyze, through the scientific literature, the level of physical activity of schoolchildren and associated factors. A search was made in the Scielo database, associating the keywords "Sedentarism", "Physical Activity Level" and "Scholars. 23 articles were included in the review. The results show a total prevalence of 49.16% active and 50.83% inactive. Half of the children and adolescents were classified as inactive.
