Th e understanding of the rain regime is fundamental to comprehend the dynamic processes of the climate. Following this idea, the aim of this paper is to know the main aspects of the pluviometrical regime of the Amambai and Iguatemi Planning and Management Areas, at Mato Grosso do Sul State (Brazil), between 1976 to 2015. According to the methodology, we have done a careful analysis of the pluviometrical data of the extremesouth of Mato Grosso do Sul State (we have organized the rain data of eight pluviometrical stations using classical statistics methods as standard deviation and trend lines. Th e results have shown a wet season between October to March and a dry season which has  its regional infl uence between June to September. Th us, we have observed a negative tendency with the medium rain volumes on Spring (less 4%) between 1976 to 2015 and an annual rain volume increase among 40 years analysing the trend lines. Moreover, the results are identifying a wetter area at the west part of the watershed which we have called a “rainfall isle”.
