The implementation of the new curriculum of Teresina in the component of Geography and its impacts on teaching practice

Resumo: | The present work is based on the new perceptions about the Teaching of Geography and its learning expectations within the Curriculum Guidelines of the Municipality of Teresina. Thus, this research has the general aims of analyzing the impacts of the implementation of the new Teresina Curriculum in the area of school geography in that municipality. To do so, it was necessary to verify how school managers are guiding teachers about the new Teresina Curriculum, in the Geography component. The applied methodology consisted of a bibliographical survey, documental analysis regarding the curricular construction and application of questionnaires with the purpose of understanding the interferences of the new curriculum on the actions of the Geography teacher. The results show that teachers are aware of the existence of the Teresina Curriculum and the possibility of using it to align their actions in the classroom. Finally, it is hoped that this research will contribute to a new look at this topic. |

Así, esta investigación tiene como objetivo general analizar los impactos de la implementación del nuevo Currículo Teresina en el área de geografía escolar en dicho municipio. Para ello, fue necesario verificar cómo los gestores escolares están orientando a los docentes sobre el nuevo Currículo Teresina, en el componente de Geografía. La metodología aplicada consistió en levantamiento bibliográfico, análisis documental sobre la construcción curricular y aplicación de cuestionarios con el objetivo de comprender las interferencias del nuevo currículo en el actuar del profesor de Geografía. Los resultados muestran que los docentes conocen la existencia del Currículo Teresina y la posibilidad de utilizarlo para alinear sus acciones en el aula. Finalmente, se espera que esta investigación contribuya a una nueva mirada sobre este tema.O presente trabalho baseia-se nas novas percepções sobre o Ensino de Geografia e suas expectativas de aprendizagem dentro das Diretrizes Curriculares do Município de Teresina. Assim, esta pesquisa tem como objetivo geral analisar os impactos da implementação do novo Currículo de Teresina na área da Geografia escolar desse município. Para tanto, foi preciso verificar como os gestores escolares estão orientando os professores sobre o novo Currículo de Teresina, no componente da Geografia. A metodologia aplicada constituiu-se em levantamento bibliográfico, análise documental a respeito da construção curricular e aplicação de questionários com a finalidade de entender as interferências do novo currículo sobre as ações do professor de Geografia. Os resultados mostram que os professores têm o conhecimento da existência do Currículo de Teresina e da possibilidade de uso para alinhar suas ações em sala de aula.
