Resumo: By considering thathuman actions promote the re-constructions of the space, they also interfere over the climate through the technical and scientific modernization resulting the atmospheric pollution. Such pollution remains suspended on the air as exiguous particles of mattes from both burns of solid materials, fossil fuel and upraised dust from soil and they may be inhaled, resulting into several damages to human health, besides the climate disorders. Based on such considerations, this manuscript will encompass the analysis and characterization of the climate in Dourados city, from Mato Grosso do Sul (MS) state, as well as to develop a theoretical-methodological guide for the conception and quantifi cation of pollution across this area related to particulate matter suspended on the atmosphere. For this purpose, we opted by an analysis proposed in the 80´s with the use of coff ee fi lter, disposable paper filters, pet bottles, wooden broomsticks and analytical balance. We will also describe the results from such a simple method, as well as the analyses of the collection point/location.

We will also describe the results from such a simple method, as well as the analyses of the collection point/location.Considerando que as ações humanas promovem as re/construções do espaço, suas interferências provocam o rearranjo do clima por meio toda modernização técnico-científica e, como resultado, a poluição atmosférica. Tal poluição permanece suspensa no ar em forma de partículas exíguas de materiais provenientes da queima de materiais sólidos, de combustível fóssil e da ascensão de poeira, que por sua vez são passíveis de serem respiradas, provocando diversos males à saúde humana e distúrbios climáticos. A partir dessas considerações, que o presente trabalho contemplará em análises e caracterização do clima de Dourados no estado de Mato Grosso do Sul (MS), bem como desenvolver um roteiro-teórico-metodológico para a concepção e quantificação da poluição aérea, ou seja, materiais particulados em suspensão, na atmosfera da referida cidade, por meio da adaptação de uma proposta utilizada no final da década de 1980, utilizando coadores de café, filtros de papel descartáveis, garrafas pet, cabos de vassoura de madeira e balança analítica.
