Resumo: This is an exploratory work aimed at discussing the growth curve of the decrease in the number of agricultural properties in the state of Paraná. Based on data from the last three agricultural censuses and commercial values extracted from the Department of Agriculture and Supply of Paraná, as well as various other quantitative sources regarding related or distant variables, which are complemented by an in-depth historical material analysis based on an extensive bibliography. It starts from the unavoidable statement, as proven in the lines below, that access to agricultural property is verging on a mythical character, given the increase in land value outpacing the rise in the population's income. The concentration of land emerges as a global phenomenon, which begins to affect even countries of the highest degree of development in Western Europe. Here, we bring forth the peculiarities of the Brazilian case, especially regarding the processes directly impacting the Paraná state government. We spatialize such concentration within the state and sample the increasing enclosure of any possibility other than living in urban periphery.

Basándose en los datos de los últimos tres censos agropecuarios y los valores comerciales extraídos de la secretaría de agricultura y abastecimiento de Paraná, así como en diversas otras fuentes de carácter cuantitativo sobre variables relacionadas o distantes, que se suman a un profundo análisis material histórico basado en una amplia bibliografía. Partimos de la afirmación ineludible, comprobable en las líneas siguientes, de que el acceso a la propiedad agrícola está rozando un carácter mítico, dado el aumento del valor de la tierra en desacuerdo con el aumento de los ingresos de la población. La concentración de tierras se presenta como un fenómeno global, que comienza a afectar incluso a países de los más altos niveles de desarrollo en Europa occidental. Y aquí traemos las particularidades del caso brasileño, especialmente en lo que respecta a los procesos que inciden directamente en el ente federativo paranaense. Espacializamos tal concentración en el estado y muestreamos el creciente cercenamiento de cualquier posibilidad que no sea la de vivir en la periferia urbana.Este é um trabalho de cunho exploratório que visa discutir a curva de crescimento da diminuição no número de propriedades agrícolas no estado do Paraná. Tendo como base os dados dos últimos três censos agropecuários e valores comerciais extraídos da secretaria de agricultura e abastecimento do Paraná, bem como diversas outras fontes de caráter quantitativo acerca das variáveis relacionadas ou distantes, que se somam a uma profunda análise material histórica baseada numa vasta bibliografia. Parte-se da incontornável afirmação, comprovável nas linhas abaixo, de que o acesso a propriedade agrícola está beirando um caráter mítico, visto o aumento do valor da terra em descompasso ao aumento da renda da população. A concentração de terras vem como um fenômeno global, que passa a atingir inclusive países do mais alto grau de desenvolvimento no oeste europeu. E, aqui trazemos as peculiaridades do caso brasileiro em especial no que toca aos processos a incidir diretamente sobre o ente federativo paranaense.
