Resumo: In this paper, we intend to study the prologue of Virgil’s eclogue X through our translation to understand how the relationships of meaning between the elements that compose it are manifested. Thus, in interpreting the prologue, we follow the concepts of allusive art and intertextuality, and focus on identifying loci communes and allusions to works and model poets.
