Resumo: This article addresses some points about the biography of Musaeus, the Grammarian, and discusses the literary genre of his work, the rediscovery of Hero and Leander after the Middle Ages with the emergence of the printing press, their editions and, finally, brings some style details and observations about the development of the narrative.
