Resumo: | The state is structured by the condensation of forces in dispute that constitute the hegemonic power bloc, as well as the ideology that this bloc carries and that guides the action of its state bureaucracy, even if temporarily and in permanent conflict. What is the space for democracy from the moment that the great transnational corporation succeeds in influencing and occupying state apparatuses? Democracy assumes that individuals have the power to constitute the state and interfere politically by voting, supposing that they have equal power when there are, on the one hand, isolated individuals and, on the other, transnational corporations organized in supra-state global institutions. How is democracy possible? History shows that it only weakens. |
