It may seem controversial to think of an association between cinema and mathematics, especially if we try to link it to our experiences as students. However, it is possible, effective and it is not a matter of letting the ninth art be the protagonist of the classroom, in the place of the teacher. Which by the way, not even he will have the main role here. The student, his learning process, the forms and relationships between cinema and mathematics, gain the spotlight and for that, we bring the Mathematical Investigations to be our support throughout the methodological process to be presented below. Despite being very important, the ninth art was not extensively analyzed by us in the dissertation, to which it is associated. However, we bring elements, theories and reflections made there about what we believe to be a very positive product for Mathematics classes. We reinforce that our study has a qualitative nature and the analysis of data production takes place through the Activity Theory.
