Resumo: Burns in special areas are considered serious injuries, needing specific treatment. In this form, the main objective of this article is to board the peculiarities of the initial treatment of burns in special zones. The facial burns will be boarded; in eyelids; in ears; regions periorbicular and labial; genital and perineal; cervical; axillary; popliteal; and in hands, feet, elbows and articulations surfaces. The correct handling of these burns must be done to minimize the damage and prevent possible complications caused by them.

Desta forma, faz-se importante abordar as peculiaridades do tratamento inicial das queimaduras em zonas especiais. Neste estudo são abordadas as queimaduras faciais, palpebrais, em orelhas, regiões periorbicular e labial, genital e perineal, cervical, axilar, poplítea, e, também, em mãos, pés, cotovelos e superfícies articulares.
