Resumo: | Studies on the sanitary and physiological seeds quality of forest species are very important due to lack of information and the need for a rational use of the native forest species, as Cassia grandis L.f. The Cassia grandis seeds from three matrixes were collected in the region of Santana do São Francisco, in the state of Sergipe and submitted to evaluations to determine their sanitary and physiological quality, using germination, humidity degree, speed emergency index, blotter and electric conductivity tests. Only Aspergillus spp. fungi presented high incidence in the evaluated seeds. The emergence rate was above 60% of normal seedlings germinated in the three evaluated matrixes. There was not statistical difference (P<0,05) among the trees in the realized observations. |
