Resumo: The eucalyptus wood, as in most of the hardwood, presents internal tensions along to the trunk, which appears after felling the trees, in varied intensities, according to the species. This study evaluated the longitudinal residual deformations (DRL) existent in a hybrid clonal of Eucalyptus urophylla x Eucalyptus grandis, in two ages and coming from coppicing and from a replanting. It was used the Growth Deformation Meter of CIRAD-Forêt. The results showed that trees of the coppicing condition and age of 70 months presented to smallest variability among the four cardinal positions; the trees planted in the largest spacing in the replanting condition and age of 70 months presented the greatest variability among the cardinal positions.
